Effect of cardiomyocyte-specific deletion of Gch1 on gene expression

To investigate the physiological role of BH4 in cardiac function, we developed mice with cardiomyocyte-specific deletion of (cm)Gch1, the gene that encodes for GTPCH, which responsible for de novo synthesis of BH4. We performed RNA sequencing in heart tissues from cmGch1 KO and WT mice. Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for cmGch1 KO and WT mice为探究BH4（四氢生物蝶呤）在心脏功能中的生理作用，我们构建了心肌细胞特异性敲除cmGch1的小鼠模型——该基因编码GTPCH（GTP环化水解酶），其负责BH4的从头合成。随后我们对cmGch1敲除（KO，knockout）与野生型（WT，wild type）小鼠的心脏组织开展了RNA测序，并针对两组小鼠的RNA-seq数据进行了比较基因表达谱分析。
