This is a development key figure, see questions and answers on kolada.se for more information. The dimension aims to highlight how well the patient feels that the care is able to inform/communicate in a way adapted to individual circumstances and in a proactive way. This concerns, for example, information about delays/waiting times, that the patient receives answers to questions in an understandable way, that the patient is informed about treatment/medication/adverse reactions/warning signals that he should pay attention, etc. The dimension also refers to the patient’s experience of how well relatives are involved. National joint surveys are carried out every two years (uneven years), in the intermediate years regions may choose to participate. Data is available according to gender breakdown.
