CNMI Marine Protected Areas Web App

Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) are designated areas in the ocean or nearshore environment which aim to protect living, non-living, cultural and/or historical resources. In the CNMI there are "No-take" Marine Protected Areas and Species-specific reserves. This web application shows the MPA's in the CNMI and allows you to see details for the individual MPAs, including their relevant regulations and jurisdictional agency.
