Information Sources and Projected Portfolio Performance

The SCF is a cross-sectional survey conducted triennially and supported by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in cooperation with the Statistics of Income Division of the Internal Revenue Service. The SCF provides a large array of information on individuals’ demographic and economic characteristics as well as their expectations and preferences.
