Human resources management in the SAF: contract reserve, families and end of military service, 2009

In the framework of the project "Management of human resources in the SAF: Contractual reserve, families and end of military service" one of the surveyed populations is represented by representatives of the contracted reserve of the Slovenian Armed Forces (PPRS). Search for contract reserve on the labour market, taking military training in addition to its first job is a rather complicated process. and it requires special approaches that, in addition to a cash reward, must offer sufficiently exciting service, additional benefits, appropriate patriotic values and proper use of training time, the reservants offer the military their free time. The basic objective of the research is to collect relevant data to enable the client to develop appropriate strategies for acquiring, retaining and managing contracted reserve members (PPRS).
