This study examines how 350 university professors in Kosovo are adjusting to these new tools as artificial intelligence (AI) transforms higher education. The results demonstrate that although educators are aware of AI's potential to enhance instruction and lessen administrative burdens, its application is still mostly experimental. The perceived advantages of AI and its actual incorporation into regular academic activities are very different. The study emphasizes that instructors need formal training and structured institutional support in addition to technology in order for AI to be ethical and effective. In order to ensure that the digital transformation of education genuinely benefits both faculty and students in developing systems, this study provides useful insights for universities and policymakers to better support teachers.
