Plum Detection and Robotic Harvesting Dataset was created by the Australian Centre for Field Robotics, specifically tailored to evaluate the application of deep learning architectures in plum detection and robotic harvesting. This dataset comprises 700 images, including 350 daytime-captured images and 350 nighttime-captured images, with each image manually annotated with bounding boxes for plums. The dataset was developed by collecting images within a real-world robotic plum harvesting system, using an Intel RealSense D435 RGB-Depth camera for image acquisition. This dataset is primarily utilized in the field of agricultural automation, specifically to address labor shortages and enhance harvesting efficiency.
