This dataset includes 13 healthy participants as experimental subjects, with consistent age (26.8±3.2 years) and driving expertise: all participants drive regularly on a daily basis, typically operate manual transmission vehicles, which matches the gear type used in the simulated driving task. All participants were required to avoid alcohol consumption the day before the measurement and refrain from caffeine intake 5 hours prior to the experiment. This dataset contains idle-state electroencephalogram (EEG) data collected from the participants during two non-fatigue driving stages: the 'Warm-up (WUP)' stage with no speed requirements, and the 'Performance (PERFO)' stage where participants completed two laps at maximum speed. Neither of these two stages involved fatigue driving tasks; they were primarily designed to enable participants to familiarize themselves with the acquisition equipment and collect baseline idle-state data. The data was acquired using Brain Products GmbH (Germany) equipment, and the preprocessed datasets are saved in MATLAB (.mat) format. The 'data' field in each file stores the collected 61-channel EEG data. The total size of this dataset is approximately 525 MB.
