Dataset for: Molecular detection of the Parasitic Dinoflagellate, Hematodinium perezi from Blue Crabs, Callinectes sapidus, in Louisiana

Blue crabs, Callinectes sapidus, were collected from sites along the Louisiana coastline between 2010 and 2015. Crabs were examined for the presence/absence of the parasitic dinoflagellate, Hematodinium perezi. This dataset reports latitude, longitude, year, salinity and temperature for sites where crabs were collected along with the sex, length, presence/absence of H. perezi, and maturity for each crab.
