Second round of screening on hubs in K562

In our previous CRISPR screening on hubs - genomic loci forming numerous spatial contacts in chromatin fragment contact networks, we found only 3.6% of them to be essential, despite >70% lacking functional annotations. To improve the hit rate, we implemented rational pre-filtering of candidates and focused on the quiescent regions in this study. Our screening resulted in the identification of 70 (hit rate of 21%) essential hubs. Furthermore, we conducted an in-depth comparison analysis of a pair of hub candidates.
