Water depths for HQextrem

The color gradation represents the water depths entering the flood for an extreme flood (HQextreme) in five classes. By presenting the water depths, differentiated statements can be made about how severely different areas are affected by the flood. From this, for example, it can be inferred from when a particular area is only accessible by off-road vehicle or by boat. Areas where no water depths have been identified are marked as “not determined”. Unidentified water depths rarely occur (e.g. in the area of dams). The depth of water here is not important for the assessment of the risk of flooding.
