Water structure mapping of the rivers of Bavaria 2017 (on-site procedure): floodplain structure

The water structure mapping (GSK) of all natural rivers in Bavaria subject to reporting under the EC Water Framework Directive – including the heavily modified (HMWB) – was recorded and assessed at the end of 2014 to the beginning of 2018. in accordance with ‘Water structure mapping of rivers in Bavaria – Explanatory notes on recording and evaluation’ (Bay. LfU 2018, see https://www.bestellen.bayern.de/shoplink/lfu_was_00152.htm). For each 100 m section, the geometry, key master data, the assessment of the 7 main parameters and the assessment of the 2 subsystems (waterbed and floodplain) as well as the overall assessment are made publicly available.
