Prevention Plan for Natural Risks (PPRN) of the Nantaise Hare: Restricted zones, in Loire-Atlantique

Risk Prevention Plans (RPPs) are the key government instrument for risk prevention. Their objective is to control development in areas at risk. The Nantaise Severe PPRN Restricted Areas delineate perimeters within which the requirements of the PPRN Regulations apply. This PPRI (flood risk prevention plans), approved on 3 December 1998, concerns the municipalities of Boussay, CLISSON, GETIGNE, GORGES, LA HAIE-FOUASSIERE, LE PALLET, MAISDON-SUR-SEVRE, MONNIERES, NANTES, REZE, SAINT-FIACRE-SUR-MAINE, VERTOU. The RPP Regulation distinguishes between “Construction Prohibition Areas”, where the hazard level is high and the general rule is the construction ban and “required areas” where the hazard level is average and the projects are subject to requirements adapted to the type of issue.
