资源简介:
This thesis explores how brain stimulation and different forms of exercise can quickly change the way the brain and spinal cord control movement. It shows that electrical brain stimulation at certain frequencies can increase brain activity linked to movement, while exercise changes these responses in distinct ways: strength exercise strongly increases activity in the working muscle, and aerobic exercise spreads its effects more widely, even to muscles not directly used. These findings are important for designing rehabilitation programs, as they help match the right type of intervention to the specific needs of patients.
