Aotearoa Tsunami Evacuation Zones (public)

The data for Aotearoa Tsunami Evacuation Zones is used in the Aotearoa Tsunami Evacuation Zones webmap on the GetReady website. Members of the public can enter an address to find out if they are in a tsunami zone and they are linked to information on preparing for a tsunami. Tsunami Evacuation Zones are areas identified by Civil Defence Emergency Management Groups, local/regional authorities and experts, as areas people may need to evacuate from depending on the height of a tsunami. They account for all tsunami sources that could result in inundation, and are developed as per the Tsunami Evacuation Zones Director's Guideline [DGL 08/16]. This guidance adopts a three zone approach (red, orange and yellow) for tsunami evacuation.奥特亚罗瓦海啸疏散区（Aotearoa Tsunami Evacuation Zones）数据集用于GetReady网站上的奥特亚罗瓦海啸疏散区网页地图。公众可输入住址，查询自身是否处于海啸影响区域，并获取海啸防灾准备相关信息。海啸疏散区是由民防应急管理工作组、地方及区域主管部门与专家共同划定的区域，民众需依据海啸波高决定是否从该区域撤离。该类区域涵盖所有可能引发海啸淹没的灾害源，并依据《海啸疏散区主管指南（Tsunami Evacuation Zones Director's Guideline）[DGL 08/16]》制定。该指南采用红、橙、黄三级分区模式开展海啸疏散管理。
