Genotype datasets for "Phylogeographic patterns of gooseneck barnacles Pollicipes pollicipes over its species range with a specific focus on metapopulation dynamics at the scale of Brittany using indirect genetic and larval dispersal modeling tools"

The datasets contain, in genepop format, the genotypes of Pollicipes pollicipes individuals (19 microsatellite loci) collected regionally across the species’ entire range, along the Breton coastline and on juvenile recruits of this species collected at two sites in Brittany (Quiberon and La Torche) during a short-term monitoring programme of these populations (genotyping at only seven loci due to the small size of the recruits). This study follows on from the European Biodiversa PERCEBES research programme led by José L. Acuña, which focused on genetic markers developed by Yaisel J. Borrell. These datasets are part of a manuscript entitlled 'Phylogeographic patterns of gooseneck barnacles Pollicipes pollicipes over its species range with a specific focus on metapopulation dynamics at the scale of Brittany using indirect genetic and larval dispersal modeling tools' recently submitted to Marine Biology.
