GFI Analysis Register, release 1.0 (November 2026)

A register of 29 testable claims about the global economy, each computed from public official data by a single documented script and each carrying its sample size, three estimators and a plain-language status. Covers inflation persistence, whether nominal rates track prices, real rates and future inflation, income and connectivity, inequality, debt and growth, unemployment and inflation at annual and monthly frequency, and a cross-section of 4,313 US banks. Claims that failed are published alongside claims that held: of the 29, five hold under the strictest estimator, four are weak, sixteen are not found, three reverse when a country is compared only to itself, one is descriptive. Includes the analysis library (gfilib.py) that reproduces every number, the machine readable register (CSV) and the public write-up (Markdown). Method: annual country panel from World Bank World Development Indicators 1995-2025, FDIC quarterly financials 2026 Q2, Eurostat monthly series; pooled, within-country and two-way fixed effects estimates; minimum 30 usable observations.
