The Malaria Database compiles all reported malaria data since the launch of the direct online reporting system for infectious diseases in 2004. Its core contents cover both aggregated statistical data and relevant original individual case records, including the number of cases, incidence rate, number of deaths and mortality rate, categorized by region, age and gender, occupation, and disease type respectively. The database provides query functions for malaria data by region and by age group, providing data support for malaria prevention, control and research.
