Replication Data for: Development Finance, Innovation Frictions and Firm Productivity: Evidence from Local Technology Finance in China

This replication package provides the materials required to reproduce the empirical results for “Development Finance, Innovation Frictions and Firm Productivity: Evidence from Local Technology Finance in China”. It includes a Python 3 Jupyter Notebook that documents the data-processing workflow, constructs the analysis sample, estimates the baseline and supplementary specifications, and generates Tables 1–A4 and Figures 1–A1 reported in the article. The accompanying dataset is prepared for public release by removing firm-specific identifying indicators while retaining the prefecture-year, firm-year, productivity, technology-finance, and control variables necessary for replication.
