Hypoxia extends lifespan and neurological function in a mouse model of aging

To investigate the effect of chronic continuous hypoxia (11%) oxygen on lifespan and neurological function in Ercc1 delta/- mice. We performed bulk RNA-seq of the cerebellum from mice that were Ercc1 delta/- normoxia, Ercc1 delta/- hypoxia, wildtype normoxia, wildtype hypoxia. Differential gene expression analysis of cerebellar bulk RNA-seq from the 4 groups above, taken at the time when the normoxic mutant of a birth cohort reached euthanasia criteria, ages 15-19 weeks.

本研究旨在探究11%氧气浓度的慢性持续性低氧对Ercc1 delta/-小鼠寿命与神经功能的影响。我们对四组小鼠的小脑组织开展了批量RNA测序(bulk RNA-seq),分组分别为:常氧处理的Ercc1 delta/-小鼠、低氧处理的Ercc1 delta/-小鼠、常氧处理的野生型小鼠以及低氧处理的野生型小鼠。本研究在同出生队列的常氧突变小鼠达到安乐处死标准时(15至19周龄),对上述四组小鼠的小脑批量RNA测序数据进行了差异基因表达分析。
