RA and CD candidate genes are preferentially expressed in immune tissues.

Expression data was downloaded from a publically available dataset [46]. The data had been previously converted into enrichment scores (see Materials and Methods). The enrichment scores of candidate genes in RA and CD were compared to the rest of the genome by a one-tailed rank-sum test. The tissues that received a p-value of <0.1 are shown. Of note, all tissues in this category for both RA and CD are immune, as shown in Figure 3.
