A dated snapshot of the sales job market as SalesJobs.Now counted it on 1 November 2026: how many sales roles were open at each of 1,480 hiring companies, and what each kind of sales role pays where the posting states its pay. Source: SalesJobs.Now (https://salesjobs.now), a job board for salespeople that reads every hiring company's own careers system (its applicant tracking system) every hour. A role leaves the count the day its posting closes. The live figures, updated hourly, are at https://salesjobs.now/roles.json and https://salesjobs.now/pay.json, and the method is at https://salesjobs.now/methodology. What it covers and what it does not: - Companies whose careers system SalesJobs.Now reads, mostly technology, software and medical device employers; most roles are in the United States. It is not a census of every sales job. - Only roles classified as sales work (selling, account management, customer success, sales engineering, partner and channel, revenue operations, sales leadership). - 14,402 of the 38,397 open roles of these eight kinds (37.5 percent) state pay; the pay columns describe those roles only.
