The fill from a rock-filled hearth at Site 5LA6197 in southeastern Colorado
was floated to recover macrofloral remains. The hearth was located in the lower
of two occupational lenses within a rock shelter. Macrofloral analysis is used
to provide information concerning foods processed in this hearth.
