Riparian Shade (England) 2016
收藏资源简介:
Riparian Shade data from the Environment Agency. Shows relative shading of rivers and streams by vegetation and topography. The intended use of this data is to target riparian tree planting in areas with the least shade in order to keep river temperatures cool enough for fish and make rivers resilient to climate change. Limitations of use: This layer was generated by the EA in 2016 so doesn't represent all subsequent riparian tree planting or vegetation growth and should be verified by field work. Update frequency: This dataset does not have an update cycle. Vintage: Data represents conditions from 2016 Tile Map Service showing national coverage down to sub-catchment scale (ca. 1:18,000) More details on the Keeping Rivers Cool project including the manual here https://catchmentbasedapproach.org/learn/keeping-rivers-cool/ For larger scales, add in the Riparian Shade Detail layer to your map and swap the visible range over at Neighbourhood scale.
