Mosquito transcriptome profiles and Wolbachia-mediated resistance to Zika virus infection in Aedes aegypti

We performed RNAseq on mosquitoes infected with the wMel strain of Wolbachia and exposed to Zika virus via blood-feeding. The goal was to analyze the transcriptome profiles and gain insight into the mechanisms of Wolbachia-mediated pathogen blocking in mosquito tissues.
