Antennal Transcriptome of the Fruit sucking moth Eudocima materna

The project aims at deciphering the Antennal transcriptome of Eudocima materna, a devastating horticultural pest. Identification of olfactory related candidate genes that re involved in mate selecting, host identification using this resource will help design bio-control methods and also understand the unusual life cycle of the moth where unlike may lepidopteran pests, the adult is more damaging compared to the larval stages.
