In fish farming, soybean meal (SBM) is expected to replace fish meal (FM) as a feed ingredient. However, dietary intake of a large amount of SBM in fish causes several disadvantages to fish physiological condition and delay of growth. In this project, the effects of an SBM-based diet (SBMD) on red seabream were investigated by transcriptome analysis.
