The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) created preliminary Flood Proxy Maps (FPM) and Damage Proxy Maps (DPMs) covering Libya due to flash floods triggered by Storm Daniel in September 2023. These maps were derived from synthetic aperture radar images acquired by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellites operated by the European Space Agency.
