The response of soil microbial diversity and community composition to short-term nitrogen and organic fertilization.

In this study, we performed a comparative study of the effects of inorganic and organic fertilizations on bacterial community based on a 3-year short-term fertilization experiment in three contrasting sites. Our objectives were to determine (i) which practice between inorganic and organic fertilizations has a greater impact on soil bacterial structure, and (ii) whether this fertilization effect depends on the soil type.
