Microbial diversity of Psychotria gabriellae and Psychotria semperflorens. Psychotria metagenome

The study aimed to determine the bacterial and fungal communities associated with the fruits, leaves, roots, and rhizospheric soils of Psychotria gabriellae and Psychotria semperflorens. These species are endemic to New Caledonia and display different adaptive behaviors against metal stress. P. gabriellae is a hyperaccumulator of Ni, whereas P. semperflorens is a Ni-excluder species.
