The rapid development of high-throughput sequencing technology has enabled a comprehensive evaluation of the microbial community composition in complex environments. Thus, it could provide the potential to understand the microbial community composition during enrichment and accordingly guide the isolation of degradation strains, a process that could improve strain isolation in the future. In this study, Illumina sequencing was used to monitor the dynamic changes of the microbial community during the enrichment process.
