Data for "Self-Reversed Magnetization in Oceanic Basalts Regulated by Disparate Titanomagnetite Hydrothermal Alteration"

This data set contains the rock magnetic and microscopic data for self-reversal basalts drilled at the U1506 site during IODP Expedition 371. Alternating-field and thermal demagnetization data for all samples are enclosed in two Excel files, "U1506A_AF_demag_all.xlsx" and "U1506A_TD_all.xlsx". Raw hysteresis loop, isothermal remanent magnetization (IRM) acquisition curve, first-order reversal curve (FORC), and high-temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility data can be found in folders "hysteresis loop", "IRM acquisition", "FORC", and "k-T_raw data", respectively. Files in "low-T_MPMS" are processed low-temperature magnetic measurement data, including ZFC/FC and LTC curves. Contained in separate zipped files, the "SEM" and "TEM" folders are SEM and TEM images, together with EDXS point analyses and mapping data.
