16S rRNA Gut microbiome profiling of quercetin-treated and untreated mice

This study investigates the effects of quercetin treatment on the gut microbiome composition in mice. Fecal samples were collected from quercetin-treated and untreated control mice and subjected to 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing. Microbial community profiling was performed to evaluate changes in bacterial diversity and composition associated with quercetin administration. The dataset provides raw sequencing reads that can be used for comparative microbiome analysis and functional inference of microbial communities influenced by dietary flavonoid treatment.
