Ecological Footprint Dataset of Urban Residents in Gaziantep, Türkiye

This dataset contains survey data collected from 384 urban residents in Şahinbey and Şehitkamil districts of Gaziantep, Türkiye, to investigate individual ecological footprints and their relationships with socio-economic and demographic characteristics. The dataset includes information on respondents' demographic and socio-economic characteristics and ecological footprint indicators calculated using an online ecological footprint calculator. These indicators include ecological footprint (global hectares), carbon footprint, the number of Earths required to sustain individual consumption patterns, and contributions from different consumption categories. The data were used to examine patterns of resource consumption and the factors associated with individual ecological footprints in an urban setting. The dataset is provided in Microsoft Excel format to support transparency, reproducibility, and further academic research.v1.1: Corrected a data entry error in monthly personal expenditure for respondent no. 131; added Stata dataset, CSV file, analysis code and README.
