Microbial community effects of sponge-to-sponge contact between three Caribbean sponge species in Key Largo, Florida

This study investigated the effects of spatial competition between three species of sponges (A. tubulata, I. birotulata, and X. muta) to determine if contact causes shifts in the sponge microbial communities associated with these sponges.
