Bacterial 16S sequence in building pipe biofilms

Building-level secondary water supply systems are used for delivering potable water to end-users, comprising pipes within buildings to which biofilms attach. In this study, Illumina sequencing of 16S rRNA genes was utilized to characterize bacterial community in real-scale pipe biofilms.
