Expression data from mouse skeletal muscle

We generated skeletal muscle-specific knockout mice lacking the transcription factor Yin Yang 1 (YY1) and analyzed expression patterns in the skeletal muscle these mice. We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression regulated by YY1. Wild type or knockout mice at 6 months were sacrificed and the soleus was isolated for RNA extraction.本研究构建了缺失转录因子阴阳1（Yin Yang 1, YY1）的骨骼肌特异性敲除小鼠，并分析了该类小鼠骨骼肌的基因表达模式。本研究通过基因芯片详细解析了YY1所调控的全局基因表达程序。选取6月龄的野生型与敲除型小鼠实施安乐死，分离其比目鱼肌以进行RNA提取。
