Mucosal microbiota profiling in small intestine of DUOX2-deficient mice

DUOX2 is a hydrogen-peroxide generating enzyme at the mucosal surface of gastrointestinal epithelia and contributes to immune homeostasis by altering host-microbe interactions. This study aims to identify specific alterations in the mucosal microbiota composition of the terminal ileum in a mouse model of DUOX2 deficiency.
