The purpose of this experiment was to demonstrate that SymE-SPA binds DNA in vivo when overexpressed, and identify where in the genome SymE-SPA binds. To do this SymE-SPA and an untagged SymE control were expressed, and areas of the genome enriched for SymE-SPA binding were identified. 3 replicates of SPA-tagged SymE samples after 30 minutes of induction, 3 replicates of untagged SymE after 30 minutes of induction, 1 replicate of SPA-tagged SymE sample after 60 minutes of induction, 1 replicate of untagged SymE sample after 60 minutes of induction; 8 samples total
