Chytrid pathogen correlates with skin microbiomes on Asian hosts

Skin microbiomes were sampled from four Asian amphibian species. This study investigated the associations for the infection of fungal chytrid pathogen, Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis, with bateria and fungi to reveal the protective role of microbiome in facing this pathogen.
