This dataset provides data-driven decision support for the online promotion of the Daily Plan mini-program through systematic ROI analysis. For the company (software developer), it enables accurate assessment of the return on investment (ROI) of each online promotion channel, identifies high-conversion high-quality channels to increase investment, and adjusts or terminates investment in inefficient channels. For other relevant enterprises, it helps to accurately grasp the current status and trends of industry promotion and adjust marketing strategies in a timely manner. 1. Data Collection and Preprocessing: (1) Data Collection: Collect data fields related to the online promotion effect of the company's Daily Plan mini-program, including collection time period, total promotion cost, channel code, independent cost of the channel (in RMB yuan), number of newly registered users via the channel, number of newly active users via the channel, average value per registered user (RMB yuan/person), and average value per active user (RMB yuan/person). (2) Data Preprocessing: Eliminate invalid channel data where the cost is greater than 0 but the number of newly registered merchants is 0 or the number of paid merchants is 0. 2. Channel Revenue and ROI Calculation: (1) Channel Revenue Calculation: Channel Revenue = (Number of newly registered users via the channel × Average value per registered user) + (Number of newly active users via the channel × Average value per active user); (2) ROI Calculation: ROI = (Channel Revenue - Independent cost of the channel) / Independent cost of the channel. 3. Strategy Optimization Rules: For channels with ROI ≥ 0.2, increase the budget proportionally; For channels with ROI ∈ [0, 0.2), maintain the budget and launch A/B testing for optimization; For channels with ROI < 0, terminate the investment immediately.
