A central compact object in the center of a new supernova remnant shellquestionMark

We propose timing observations of the pointlike central Xray source discoveredin the center of a newly identified supernova remnant shell HESS J1731347 /G353.60.7. The source most likely belongs to a yet very small class ofsocalled Central Compact Objects (CCOs) presumably young thermally emittinglowmagnetized neutron stars born in supernova explosions which produced theremnants. Since only a handful of CCOs are currently known any addition to thisclass is highly valuable.
