Osteocytes regulate skeletal senescence during development

As a part of the skeletal system, bone marrow environment also performs vital functions in maintaining the bone homeostasis. To gain an insight into the bone marrow environment change after osteocyte ablation, single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) was performed 13835 and 12727 bone marrow cells from WT and DTAhet mice respectively was isolated and analyzed using scRNAseq.

作为骨骼系统的组成部分,骨髓微环境(bone marrow environment)同样在维持骨稳态(bone homeostasis)中发挥着至关重要的功能。为深入探究骨细胞消融后骨髓微环境的变化情况,研究人员分别从野生型(Wild Type, WT)和DTAhet小鼠体内分离得到13835个和12727个骨髓细胞,并通过单细胞RNA测序(single cell RNA sequencing, scRNA-seq)技术对上述细胞进行测序分析。
