The dataset is named ep-envelope-parametric and is an EnergyPlus parametric simulation dataset for building envelope surrogate modeling. It was generated using the HTC-EP workflow on 2026-05-19, focusing on building energy simulations. The dataset includes parameter sweeps for wall insulation thickness (0.03 to 0.25 meters), roof insulation thickness (0.03 to 0.3 meters), window U-factor (5.8 to 1.0), window solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC, 0.2 to 0.7), and infiltration design flow rate (multiplier 0.5 to 4.0). Output variables consist of hourly data (e.g., Zone Air Temperature, Cooling/Heating Rates, Chiller Electricity Rate) and monthly data (e.g., Cooling/Heating Energy, Surface Conduction Heat Transfer Energy, Electricity and Natural Gas consumption for Facility and HVAC). The dataset utilizes EnergyPlus version 23.1.0, based on 3 EPW weather files, with a total of 3072 simulations.
