Redacted Email Correspondence Regarding Cultural Appropriation

This dataset contains redacted email correspondence between the author and the AASECT regarding instances of cultural appropriation observed in a Special Interest Group (SIG) focused on Tantra. Personal identifying information has been redacted to protect privacy. This dataset documents the author’s formal communications raising concerns about organizational accountability, minority representation, and cultural sensitivity within the SIG. These communications were analyzed as part of a critical case study examining organizational behavior and responses to issues of cultural appropriation in professional sexology networks. The dataset includes metadata on dates and subjects of correspondence, providing context for the analysis presented in the associated publication.
