Fungal strain-level diversity defines host-mycobiota interactions and inflammation in Inflammatory Bowel Disease

C. albicans strains were isolated from intestinal mucosa lavage samples of healthy individuals and IBD patients. Strains were catalogued and preserved in the Iliev lab fungal strain collection. Genomic C. albicans DNA was extracted from fungal colonies, quality control, library preparation and deep sequencing on Illumina HiSeqX platform were performed.
