This dataset is derived from the inspection data of temperature-sensing urinary catheters before and after aging tests. By comparing the data before and after the aging test, the product qualification can be verified, providing a reliable basis for quality and technical management departments to control product quality and improve production equipment and processes.
1. Product testing covers multiple inspection items, each of which includes several performance indicators. For each performance indicator, multiple inspections are conducted both before and after the aging test. The qualification of a single performance indicator is judged based on the variation magnitude of its pre- and post-test inspection data. Subsequently, the qualification of an inspection item is determined when all its performance indicators meet the qualification requirements, and finally the product qualification is confirmed when all its inspection items pass the qualification assessment.
2. The calculation formula for judging the qualification of a performance indicator is as follows: Let the three sets of inspection data for a certain performance indicator before the aging test be X1, X2, X3, with their average value being Xa. Let the three sets of inspection data for the same performance indicator after the aging test be Y1, Y2, Y3, with their average value being Ya. Define the variation threshold between the pre- and post-aging test for this performance indicator as &. The real-time variation amplitude P of the performance indicator is calculated as P=(Ya-Xa)/Xa. If the absolute value of P is not greater than &, the performance indicator is considered qualified. An inspection item is qualified if all its performance indicators meet the qualification criteria, and a product is qualified only when all its inspection items pass the qualification assessment.
3. Explanation of the variation threshold &: The threshold & is a constant value, and its value differs across various performance indicators of the product. The determination of & mainly relies on the following aspects: (1) Industry standards: Industry standards stipulate that the variation of a certain parameter before and after the aging test shall not exceed a certain percentage; (2) Historical data and expert experience: A reasonable threshold & can be set based on historical data and expert experience, which must comply with industry standards; (3) Customer requirements and product design objectives: A threshold & higher than the industry standard can be set according to customer needs and product design goals.
