Genetic programs of rabbit pre-implantation embryos revealed by RNA-Sequencing

In mammals, the control of pre-implantation development experiences a maternal-to-zygotic transition (MZT) after fertilization. The transition involves maternal clearance and zygotic genome activation that remodel the terminal differentiated gamete to confer totipotency. Throughout RNA sequencing, we report here a comprehensive analysis of transcriptome dynamics from oocyte to morula in rabbit embryos.
