This study was a retrospective and case-controlled study that included 12073 pregnant women over 35 years-of-age and gave birth in Hangzhou, China between 2018 and 2022. We investigated the perinatal features and pregnancy outcomes of three groups of pregnant women aged 35–39 years (n=10544), and 40–44 years (n=1469) and ≥ 45 years (n=60).
