Research data for the paper: Effects of polypropylene and polyethylene terephthalate microplastics on trypsin structure and function. Trypsin activity in the presence of MPs was determined in bulk, soft corona and hard corona with a small synthetic chromogenic substrate, Nα-Benzoyl-DL-arginine 4-nitroanilide hydrochloride (BAPNA). Mass of protein in hard corona was determined by densitometry after SDS PAGE analysis using Image J software. Data obtained from Bio Tek Synergy LX Multi-Mode Reader and Shimadzu UV/ViS 1800.
